CBC has an interview with hawkish Senator Colin Kenny, head of a federal committee on defense and security urging Canadian withdrawal from Afghanistan. Among other clear statements, Kenny said “Prime Minister Harper should do the right thing, and start moving toward a word no soldier likes to hear, but that is sometimes the only intelligent thing to do. That word is retreat.”
